Completely Letting Go

If you let go of arguing,

you even let go of the thought “no argument."

If you let go of expecting,

you even let go of the thought "no expectation."

If you let go of grasping,

you even let go of the thought "no grasping."

This speaks to me. I see many Buddhists wanting to remove the suffering of desire so intensely that, ironically, the desire to remove all desire consumes them. Even though they study the texts, meditate, and chant, and maybe because they overdo it and seem to not be open to living an actual, fulfilling life, I do not see how this can lead to enlightenment.
