Revelations

If I am angry with others – I reveal the anger that I have for myself.

If I am critical of others – I reveal the criticism that I have for myself.

On the other hand:

If I am loving of others – I reveal that I am capable of loving myself.

If I have compassion for others – I reveal that I am capable of having compassion for myself.

This remind me about how to make sure that I am doing the right thing daily by asking myself on every action that I am plan to do to others. If I can accept the action that I plan to do to others in turn of do it to myself then do it. If I can't accept the action that I plan to do to other in turn of do it to myself then, I shall not do it. Such as confucius said "Do as you would be done by others, or Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you." That is one of the way to exam what we are going to do is right thing to do or not.

Thank you for post that meaningful words. Amitabha

Andy - Yes, by considering first whether to do something, we might well decide it is better not to. After all, if we wouldn't like it how can we expect another person to.
